RE-ENGAGING ART DEFAULTERS WITHIN THE LGBTIQ COMMUNITY

In our commitment to equitable healthcare access, we embarked on a mission to establish robust referral networks and engage ART defaulters within the LGBTQ community. Recognizing the critical need to re-initiate individuals on ART treatment, we meticulously identified and mapped 10 referral centers, strategically positioned to serve our community.

Through collaborative efforts with clinical officers and stakeholders, we engaged in dialogue and partnership to facilitate seamless transitions for ART defaulters. As a result, we successfully linked three individuals to dropping centers, providing them with the necessary support and resources to resume treatment.

Our endeavors didn't stop there. We remained steadfast in our dedication to re-engaging ART defaulters, recognizing the importance of holistic care and support. Through ongoing efforts to strengthen referral networks and community engagement, we proudly facilitated the identification and re-initiation of three additional individuals on ART treatment.
