FUELING CHANGE: EMPOWERING LGBTQ+ PEER COUNSELORS

In a concerted effort to bolster our outreach initiatives and ensure ongoing service provision, we conducted a transformative 3-day capacity building session. This session was dedicated to training 12 LGBTQ+ individuals as peer counselors, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to enhance our outreach efforts.

The training focused on expanding their HIV knowledge, enabling them to not only educate others but also assist in tracking individuals requiring services. As champions of community empowerment, these peer counselors play a vital role in bridging gaps and fostering connections within the LGBTQ+ community.

Our commitment to their ongoing support is unwavering. Through continued follow-up and resource allocation, we strive to empower these individuals to make a lasting impact in the lives of others. Together, with our partners, we are driving positive change and ensuring that every voice is heard and valued.
